Brice Wiggins Fully Supports Efforts to Overturn Roe v. Wade

Mississippi is about to make history when the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.

Our country was founded on individual rights, and individual rights extend to the unborn. As your State Senator, I proudly stood in the Mississippi Senate chamber and voted for Mississippi’s anti-abortion law (House Bill 1510), which is now a model for our nation.

I, Brice Wiggins, fully support our state and nation’s efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade as it is one of the worst constitutional decisions to come out of the U.S. Supreme Court.

As your next Congressman, I will continue this fight to protect the rights of unborn Americans in D.C.

Pregnancy Resource Act

In turn, our state legislature made a phenomenal achievement this year by passing the Pregnancy Resource Act (House Bill 1685) – a first of its kind in the nation and a game-changer for pregnancy resource centers to be able to serve more women.

The Pregnancy Resource Act creates a dollar-for-dollar tax credit offered to those who donate to pregnancy resource centers such as the CPC Metro. The bill allocates $3.5 million of Mississippi tax dollars to credit back to donors. The revenue offset by this program could produce as much as $17.5 million in donations and services to women and children.

Pregnancy resource centers across Mississippi will now be able to expand services to families all across the state with the passage of the Pregnancy Resource Act.
